About

I was born in Nijkerk in the Netherlands and spent my youth in Amersfoort.  I also spent a lot of time in Friesland and the Wadden. For me, nature and landscape are of great importance and are an important source of inspiration. I have spent part of my working life in forestry. Frisian roots determine my art pieces with a sense of longing. Although I have other actvities, I have always continued to paint, draw and write. At the moment I am working on a documentation of all the work.
